I began working with the American Cancer Society at the age of 10, where I participated in tons of fundraising activities. I absolutely loved it, and I knew I wanted to help people from a very young age. When we worked in groups we spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals and various senior-care facilities that surrounded our home town. The more people we visited, the more I realized that the little things we do make a big difference in other people's lives. As we age, our body doesn't work the way it did back in high school, and the little things we find so easy to do everyday such as:brushing your teeth, showering, or even going to the restroom, become much more difficult to do on your own.
I currently work for Addus Healthcare, and it has been a wonderful experience by far. I enjoy meeting new people and making people's lives easier to enjoy.
