About Shaena

As a child my mother and other family members were caregivers for developmentally delayed and the senior community, I got to meet a lot of the people they cared for and over time built a passion for wanting to be a caregiver, I started when I was 18 years old in 2008 and fell in love with the always changing environment and the personalities of the people I had the pleasure of supporting. I am compassionate, reliable, and attentive first, alongside the skills I've learned over the years. I have experience in ambulatory care working with sit to stands, hoyer lifts, walkers, wheelchairs. I have experience in medication reminders, medication administration, housekeeping, meal prep, cooking, transportation, bathing, grooming, following HIPPA, documentation on paper and on the computer working with Epic, and other platforms.
