I am looking for tri- or bi-weekly help with my family's 1-year-old daughter. I have started teaching music classes and have a sessionstarting, which leaves me with no time to prepare the lesson plans.
I am searching for someone who has experience with infants and toddlers. I would like a caretaker who can help maintain a structured schedule for my daughter, including naps at specific times, book reading, and attending a music class on Monday and Friday mornings. I typically record the class because it is very early, and I replay it for her later. It is a music class that requires a caregiver's participation, and I would like someone who can participate in those with her when I am unavailable.
We also have a tiny Shih Tzu/Maltese that my daughter loves. We are trying to teach her not to pull the dog's hair or hit him. He is well-tempered, but if he becomes a problem, we have a kennel we can use, as well as four bedrooms on the second floor of our townhome.
I am not looking for someone to be with my daughter all day. However, I would appreciate it if someone could be available 2-3 times a week for a few hours. It would be great if we could find someone who can give my husband and me a night off every once in a while on a weekend evening for a date. We haven't gone out for a date on our own since before our daughter arrived, and it would be nice - but not a requirement and not every weekend. Once a month would be lovely.
I am looking for someone who is available during the weekday and can help me with my lesson preparation. I would love it if there is someone who enjoys playtime, crafts, reading, and who knows how to play the piano or another instrument. It's not required, but my daughter is around music all the time with my husband and me already.
Lastly, I would appreciate it if someone could do some light housework or food preparation occasionally, but this is not a requirement.
Also, my family is tired of my rotisserie chicken recipe. ... more
