About who needs care: My mom is a vibrant woman of almost 69-years-old who due to past cancer treatment and weakened state after a hospitalstay last year, doesn't get around as well as she used to. She needs help keeping her house tidy and organized, medications and groceries picked up and delivered, and would also love some company. She has 2 little yorkie dogs who wouldn't need much looking after but will be there.
She's extremely intelligent and loves meeting people of all different backgrounds. She loves history, reading, music, theater, and is definitely someone who appreciates a good joke.
About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would be someone with a great sense of humor, a good amount of patience (she is hard-of-hearing, you may need to repeat things), and someone who loves to learn.
If you're interested in history and travel or learning about different cultures, you'll likely have a lot in common with my mom! She is also a talented seamstress and has an eye for interior design.
