A typical day with this 22-year-old client involves tons of walks outdoors. An ideal day-shift starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. We are also looking for someone for the night shift which allows the client's mother to sleep. Paid training $15/hr. After training $23/hr. Current caregiver finished training on the first day and is working M, W, F 8:30-4. We'd like to add a second caregiver.
For the day shift, first you help with getting dressed and go walking between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Lunch time is 11:30, the client you help with getting dressed and go walking between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Lnt will either nap or want to go back out for another walk. We typically visit one to three different parks a day and try to stay out until around 4 p.m. The client has no behavior issues. Caregivers will be trained to spot the early signs of a seizure, how to walk safely with this client and how to anticipate clients needs. Additional needs include meal prep and being comfortable with pets. Family Age Groups: Adult.
