My mother, Trudy, is 80 years young and needs a companion while I work as a nanny. She is a gentle, sweet Southern lady and has a greatsense of humor.
Mom's health issues are fairly typical. She is diabetic, has a pacemaker and a new hip.
There is really no housework involved, other than cleaning up after yourself and Mom. But as she ages she needs more help with daily tasks and inspiration to stay active. She is a fall risk and uses a cane or walker often.
During the day Mom enjoys reading, playing Scrabble, working puzzles of all kinds, planting flowers, cooking (or helping you, preferably). For field trips to the movies, museums or lunch/brunch she'll be happy to treat you and give you gas money.
Ideal hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. ... more
