Do not send your child to this facility. We entered our almost three year old into this facility for her first preschool. See only attended school here for 3 moths before we had to remove her.

The staff here is lacking professionalism and dedication to the children they take care off. They told us to have our child screened for autism, which we did. The Doctors confirmed the child did not have autism. Imagine the stress this caused on our family

The Teachers and Principal wrote up a toddler that was not even three years old multiple times a times a day. The staff at this school are lazy and out of touch.

We pulled our child out of this school voluntarily. She excelled and adapted well at a respected school down the road without one complaint from staff.

Avoid this place at all costs. It's not worth the pain, stress, and disrespect.

Reston Y preschool.
For anyone looking for a center daycare or at this particular one, I just wanted to let you know of my experience there and why I am removing my child. I thought with a well known name I was being safe and they would hold up to their reputation but it has not been that way. The first thing that ruffled my feathers was when they transitioned my kid from the non mobile to the mobile side at 7months old (without asking me) before he could even crawl (was only rolling) because they had filled his spot on the non mobile side.
I was concerned because he couldn't move as others walked and played around him. I was made to believe non mobile children on the mobile side would have a set teacher just for them but that was not the case.
Then a week before he turned 8 months we received a call stating he threw up so much he need to go home (they thought he had a bug) it turns out they fed him the wrong bottle. They gave him his lunch bottle (which was 6oz w/ cereal) for breakfast after 4oz of baby food. He was over stuffed and puked his brains out.
At 12months the school was well aware of his dairy intolerance and after a doctor's note he was given cheese even though I provided food as I had been doing. That day they chose not to provide him his lunch and give him a cheese enchilada. At that point I was fed up and filled out forms to cancel our membership but because they won't reimburse me for what's paid I chose to finish out thinking now they'll be more careful... I was wrong. Less than a week later they forgot to give him his afternap bottle but marked off on the electronic daily report that he drank it all (bottle was still full when we picked him up).
They also push you as to when your kid NEEDS to start solids, milk, cups etc. They do not let you parent because they want their jobs easy to have all the kids on the same schedule. They do not encourage morning or afternoon naps. They want all the kids to sleep from 1230 - 230
Be weary of reports and this facility.
