Two Nurses and a Stethoscope brings care to the comfort and security of your home. We help maintain your independence and dignity while receiving home care services. Two Nurses and a Stethoscope

The Two Nurses agency sent a caregiver who refused to provide necessary urological care. Even more seriously, when we complained to the Two Nurses management about this, management supported the caregiver's refusal to provide this care. A written statement from the physician confirms that the care refused should have been be provided.

The owner is personable and friendly, and initially seemed committed. And, there was effort to ensure new caregivers were trained. However, there were multiple issues with organization and scheduling. Several times there was a mix-up about the schedule and no one was available to fill a promised shift at the last minute. Ultimately, the Two Nurses agency was not dependable. Out of approximately 168 shifts scheduled with Two Nurses, during the course of the few months we tried to work with them, the agency:
Missed 4 shifts with less than 12 hours' notice,
Missed 2 additional shifts with no prior notice at all (no-shows),
Was more than 15 minutes late for an additional 34 shifts, or approximately 20% of the scheduled shifts,
Allowed caregivers to announce at the beginning of a shift that they wouldn't stay for the full shift. 

Additionally, there was a lot of turnover of caregivers in a relatively short time. And, we are concerned some caregivers were not background checked before being sent.

I highly recommend Two Nurses and a Stethoscope for skilled nursing care!  

I have Muscular Dystrophy and require use of a tracheostomy with a ventilator, along with a wheelchair.  My life depends on competent and caring nursing care.  Two Nurses delivers that care and helps me so much with living my life to the fullest.  

Two Nurses also has very caring and capable home health aides.

I am very pleased with the skilled nursing care that has been provided since my last review in 2015.  The nurses have helped me maintain my health at the best possible level with their compassionate and knowledgeable caregiving.  They are reliable and provide quality care.

I needed care for my grandparents who both have dementia.  They need 24 hour care.  I went through 3 other companies before I found Two Nurses.  This company is fabulous.  Working with Julie and her company has taken so much stress off of my family.  We know that there will always be someone there for them.  We also ALWAYS know who will be in the home.  Julie never sends a person into the home that we have not all met before and hasn't been trained.  This company was a god send to my grandparents!  They go out on field trips, they do games with them, and take them to all of their dr appointments and give us a summery of the visit.  Great company I highly recommend them if you want the comfort of knowing your family is getting the best care!

Our mother, Nancy had been in a nursing facility and hospital for several months battling complications from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Her immune system was shutting down. In July she made the decision to come home. Julie was the first nurse at her side and ironically the last nurse at her side.

 I was immediately impressed with Julie's professionalism and knowledge of Palliative care. She carefully assessed moms care periodically, while accurately documenting all procedures and medications.
 
Julie was a God send to our family. Helping and guiding us thru such a difficult time. More importantly, she cared for mom in a loving and dignified manner that gave mom and our family comfort.

My mother has been receiving home care for 6 years.  Two Nurses and a Stethoscope has been providing care for my mother for 3 years now.  Before we chose Two Nurses we had a number of other companies, and even tried independent care givers.  When we started home care for my mother we just needed someone to come in a few hours a day.  When Two Nurses started they were coming in for 3-4 hours a day.  After seeing the great quality of care that she was receiving, we quickly increased the time they were in the home.  They take her to her appointments, and let us know everything the Dr has said, they take her shopping, to get her hair done, they take her on outings.  My mother absolutely loves every one of her caregivers from Two Nurses (which is not was what happening with the other companies).  Two Nurses has also has the best backup plan of any company we have ever seen.  In the 3 years this company has been in our home, not one aide has been sent to the house that we haven't met ahead of time and wasn't trained for my mother.  Since Two Nurses has taken over my mothers care I no longer get scared every time the phone rings, afraid it was yet another call off.  Julie, the owner, takes a personal interest in every family too.  Two Nurses is now caring for my mother 24/7 and I couldn't be any happier with the quality of care.

I will be on a call to report this place! I have looked into  their staff and I know 2 of them are not even registered nurses! just want to take peoples money how sick!

The ownr is a fraud and doesn't have a clue how to run a business.  She is just out to make money and bot guve quality care.

They helped me care for my elderly aunt in Ohio .
I live in Florida and couldn't be there for her.
They made sure all her medical needs where being met , as well as her emotional health.
They were courteous and very professional.
I truly felt at ease , knowing my aunt was being
Managed and was happy. I highly recommend them!

After almost a year with another agency, we switched to TNS to provide care for my wife almost one year ago.  What a tremendous difference!  We have had wonderful caregivers and the comfort that comes from knowing that we don't have to worry about her care.  Julie promised that she wouldn't send anybody into our home that she wouldn't have in hers, and we believe that is exactly what she has delivered.  It speaks volumes that the social worker from my wife's outpatient rehab facility asked for the name of our home care agency based on the recommendation of her therapists and their interaction with our care providers.  That's a better endorsement than any I can provide!
