Trinity has a long, rich history in preschool Christian education. We recognize that the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development of each child is important and inter-related. Learning experiences are organized in ways that encourage children to develop optimally in all areas with meaningful connections across these domains. The classroom schedule reflects a balance between structure and free choice, as well as active and quiet times.
The TCDC full day program serves children ages 12 months to 4/5K from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday-Friday. Three, four and five year olds in the extended care program participate in the kindergarten curriculum from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with the other kindergarteners. During before and after care, the children participate in organized learning activities and free play.
The TCDC kindergarten is from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, serving children ages 3, 4 and 5.
TCDC uses Frog Street Curriculum and Pearson OWL to provide opportunities for individualized learning. Music, art, creative movement, and Bible classes are interwoven into the weekly schedule.
The TCDC offers one-on-one with teachers, low teacher to child ratios, learning center activities, music and movement, kindergarten preparedness, snack/lunch, group activities, chapel, Bible, outdoor time, art, gym time, and Love/Logic.
