I have opening for ages 1 year-5 years.

I am an experienced, in-home provider of a very small daycare/preschool in a family oriented setting. I have been in the field of early childhood development/education for more than 25 years teaching, leading others in a licensed childcare ministry, as well as working as a nanny. I also owned a licensed childcare when I lived in Indiana and raised 3 children. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I hold a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Care. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Childcare is my profession of choice, and I am a professional. I strive to provide a high quality childcare program, where children are safe, loved, and learning. I will provide your child with a loving and stimulating environment that fosters the skills that are necessary for a positive future and successful entrance into Kindergarten. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. I have designed a preschool program to expose child to phonics, phonic awareness, writing, math (colors, counting, sorting, calendar, time), science, music & movement, and arts & crafts. I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, where they can exercise their natural curiosity and can manipulate and explore the environment around them. Activities depend on the child's age but we will do arts & crafts, cooking & baking, reading, games, puzzles, water-table, circle time, or just tummy time. I am concerned that young children in childcare centers are not receiving the individual attention that the need to thrive. I offer stability and continuity which is essential in a child's ability to trust, attach and bond. I have a pool but it is gated and locked. I have an open door policy. You are welcome to stop by and visit your child during the day, if your schedule allows. Open 6:00 a.m . -5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
