At the Visitation Academy, the journey to develop firm foundations is rooted in the Preschool Program. Here young ladies aged three and four establish the spiritual, academic, social, and physical attributes characteristic of a Visitation girl from the earliest of years. With a strong language based program, the PreK-3 and PreK-4 classes focus on honing the skills necessary for each girl to capitalize on her strengths. Math, Science, Religion, and Social Studies are taught in an enclosed collaborative learning environment where girls focus on working together and sharing as partners.
The curriculum includes a rich selection of enrichment programs Dance, Spanish,Technology, Coding, Library and Physical Education.
Visitation Academy s unique location in the downtown historic district allows for the experiential classroom to extend beyond the physical borders of the school. Classes take advantage of the local library, businesses, Carroll Creek and parks to experience how learning is best lived everyday.
