Founded in 1982 by the Education Council of the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church, The Tree House preschool in Basking Ridge is proud to offer an enriching curriculum and extended care that focuses on developing confidence, independence and social skills in 2 to 5 year olds.
The Tree House curriculum is built upon the philosophy that children learn best by doing. Our curriculum is carefully balanced to meet the needs of each child in an age-appropriate environment encompassing the various areas of your child's growth. While the program provides a rich learning experience, the primary goal is the total development of the child provided by a highly professional staff in a loving and caring environment.
Our experienced staff guides and encourages children through carefully planned activities that allow them to develop at their own ideal rate. Our small class sizes help foster educational and social development in a setting where the children feel safe to learn and grow.
We strive to develop self-assured children and to teach them the skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. The foundations we set today will form the foundation for their academic learning in years to come.
The Tree House is open for half day or full daycare. Our half day preschool program (ages 2 to 5) runs from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Our full day program (ages 2 1/2 to 5) runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Extra hours are also available.
Though it is a nonprofit service provided to the community by Presbyterian Church, the Tree House welcomes all children -- regardless of religious beliefs or affiliation.
