We love everyone at The Neighborhood School. I almost didn't enroll our kiddo here because there weren't any reviews for this place so I'm here to write one about this wonderful daycare/preschool in case other parents are like me and really rely on recommendations.

My child has been here for about 1 year in the 2-3yo classroom with Ms Isabel and Ms Alyx. Both are adoring, patient, encouraging, communicative, teachers. My kiddo comes home saying "I love Ms Isabel" nearly every day. They truly feel loved and cared for there. One of the students in my child's class is a "biter" and has bit my kid but the staff handled everything with the utmost respect and care to everyone involved. This child and my child are still best friends thanks to the way these situations were dealt with.

The school uses an app for checking the kids in/out and communication between the parents and staff, which is super convenient especially with Covid precautions. We have non-traditional values and celebrate non-Protestant holidays and the school has been very accepting and accommodating of this. The kids are engaged in social play, learn emotional regulation, and participate in sensory activities daily.

Ms Maureen is the director and she will answer any of your questions (and I've had an abundance of them) in depth and ensure everyone's expectations are met. Ms Ariel is the assistant director and her warm and bubbly personality is enchanting to the children here. My kiddo loves her. We also know one of the 3-4yo teachers and she is wonderful. We have a friend who's son is 4 and attends here and they love the school as well. I have yet to meet a staff member who has been anything but excellent.

My youngest has attended this school since he was 2 months old (he is now 3 1/2), and I have loved every teacher he has had. The director and assistant directors are very passionate about children and about child development, and every teacher seems to really care about the kids. My older boys have also attended before/after school care from time to time, along with the summer program for school-aged children, and they have always enjoyed it.

I have 2 children that attend the Neighborhood School and I wouldn't send them anywhere else. The staff is fantastic, upbeat and most of all loving of every child that walks through their door. I look forward to the end of the day when I pick my kids up. It's fun to see all the smiles!
We moved to Cheyenne about 4 years ago and we found this place. Since we're transplants the staff have become a second family for us.
The NEW facility is first rate. I was very happy to see them upgrade and find a building where the children and staff can thrive. The building is spotless and most of all secure.
I'm extremely confident that they have prepared my kids for Kindergarten. My oldest comes home every day and is excited about the things he's learned. I like how the teachers use hands on activities to expand their interests. I'm really impressed that the staff and the kids become involved in community projects. Teaching the kids to respect their community now can only serve us all later!
Both of my kids started there as babies and we'll continue to have them there until they go off to school. Thank you Neighborhood School Staff!

My child has been going here since she was 6 weeks old, back when it was FUM Preschool. She has become very successful at reading, writing, counting, and even receives help with her speech. She loves going to school to learn and play with her friends. This one of the best places to take your child. The teachers are great.

My child has been going to this school for almost a year, it has been a fantastic program for him. he has learned so much! all the teachers are very happy and caring. my child has gone from knowing colors and how to count to 10 to counting to 25 and recognizing numbers and letters, he knows how to spell his name, and he has a lot of friends. All of the teachers care about every child in the facility, not just their classes. The school provides a morning snack and afternoon snack, and water/milk throughout the day.. and you pack a lunch for your child. I have found this facility to be the best i have ever taken my child to.

I can always trust that my children will be well taken care of when they are there. There is open communication between parents and caregivers which is something that is hard to come by.
My son has developed self-help skills that I attribute almost entirely to his teachers and I am very thankful that they care for him the way they do. My daughter is in the before and after school program and the center has gone out of their way to ensure she gets to her honor choir on time in the mornings. She also enjoys socializing with and helping out the other school-aged children.
I could not imagine my children being any where else.

Don't take your kid there because: they do not feed your kids or keep them hydrated, they fail to inform parents of disease outbreaks, there is no curriculum whatsoever despite what the director tells you, your kid will come home with diaper rash, no communication between staff/director/parents, and its too expensive for lackluster care.
