Hello, my name is Heide. I am a Pediatric Registered Nurse and founder of Sweet Pea Newborns. I have over 23 years of nursing experience. My areas of expertise include Pediatrics, Newborn Nursery, and Special Care Nursery. I am CPR certified, a Certified Happiest Baby Educator, and a Certified Educator of Infant Massage.
I offer a variety of in-home baby care services:
Newborn Care- Need hands on help in learning to care for your baby? You can choose from a basic 2 hour visit that covers all of the baby care basics or opt for a custom visit tailored to fit your needs.
Baby Care- Need a little parent TLC time? I offer hourly baby care. You can nap, run errands, go to appointments, or treat yourself to a lunch out with friends knowing that your baby is in good hands.
Special Baby Care- Does your baby have special needs? I offer hourly respite care for parents so that you can have a well deserved break knowing that your baby is being cared for by an experienced caregiver. Whether your baby has reflux, colic, a heart defect, or anything in between, I am here to offer support.
Newborn or Baby Nanny- Looking for a full or part-time Nanny for your little one's first year? I have extensive experience with newborns and babies and would love to offer my expertise to your family. Babies have always been my passion. I enjoy watching babies grow into their own little person with each new developmental stage. I honor the parent's wishes in all aspects of care, but am happy to offer advice if asked. If you feel like I may be a good fit for your family, I would love to speak with you.
