Hello my name is Mavis Sarpong i work with this company for almost 2years Now i just resent stop working with them because they didn't pay me my 2weeks pay I did all they want me to do and they haven't pay me my money yet for the past 7month now I want to take an action to take them to court to get my money back if they don't call me to settle with me am given them 3days action will be taken from there

My Sara aide was excellent. Pleasant, hard working and knowledgeable. Actually, everyone at the agency is so courteous and nice. I knew my father was in excellent hands every day when our aide arrived.

Sara Companions has been a lot of help with my grandmother. Our caregiver is really great, she was very attentive and very competent.I'd Recommend it to anyone

I am a wheelchair user. My husband is my primary caregiver, and I work full-time. I needed a home health aide to help me at the beginning and end of each day to dress/undress, transfer in/out of bed and in/out of the shower, prepare light meals, and do light housekeeping. Through my union, I was referred to Sara Companion Services. They accepted the job of helping me for two hours each morning before work and two hours each evening before bed for all of March (my husband's recovery period). I did not hear from them until I called them at 4:30 pm on February 28, 2018 (the night before their service was supposed to begin) only to find out that they would not staff the job. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. They left me without assistance, and did not have the courtesy to give me enough notice to find another agency to help. Furthermore, I have repeatedly contacted them via phone and email to have all copies of the contract and credit card authorization sent to me so I can shred it, and they refuse to respond. To make matters worse, they still went ahead and charged my credit card the $784.00 weekly fee even though they did not render any services. They have trouble responding to calls and emails when things go sour, but they have no problem dishonestly charging me for services that were never rendered. Stay far away!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unfortunately this agency cares more about their employees instead of their clients which is a shame and this was from personal experience with them.

Sara Companions Home Care ,,,, so glad we found you ! After several unfortunate experiences with other agencies Sara is a breath of fresh air. Not only professional , but sensitive , caring & compassionate to our needs. The very pleasant staff at this agency went above & beyond. My father is finally receiving the professional care he so deserves. Our caregivers are the BEST ! I would highly recommend Sara Companions.

Horrible, irresponsible company who sent a totally unqualified person who was supposed to stay full time for 3 1/2 days per week, alternating with another caregiver the for the balance of the week. She quit abruptly after no relief came after 10 days. Agency was totally unresponsive about their promises to replace this woman but really the agency took advantage of the caregiver, too, since she was only expecting a 3-4 day per week job and then back to her home.

Absolutely do not use this company! The caretaker they sent for my grandmother was unbelievably unprofessional, untrained, and obviously lied about her qualifications. When it was time for her break, Sara Companions had no one to send for her back up. She ended up calling me on the phone, saying she needed to leave right away, when I got to the house she was all packed up, waiting at the door ready to leave, which meant my grandmother was left upstairs alone. When myself and my family called Sara Companions to make a complaint, there was no willingness to help. This company is a disgrace!

Sara Companion homecare works very hard to match their caregivers with the person needing care. This so important because many older people don't think they need help and the person going into there home is intrusive. The caregivers go the extra mile to please the people in their care not only doing physical needs but also the emotional needs. They encourage stimulating activities that help a persons mind to stay sharp, and are very respectful of people's independence. I would recommend this agency for so many reasons but the most important one is, "they really care."
