Progressive Learning Academy is a center where children will progress to the next level of education. We serve as a model for the 21st century. We have built an Academy that provides superior services for children, creating an enriching, warm environment where they can grow. We provide an array of services for children of all ages which is inclusive of 1st and 2nd Shift Child Care Services,After School and Summer Camp Programs. We are a licensed and insured child care facility which meets all the standards established by the State of South Carolina for child care centers. Children that attend Progressive Learning Academy will receive the highest quality of care.

We employ experienced teachers, learning assistants, licensed behavioral health therapists and culinary staff which makes up our core group. We believe that every child needs a safe, stable, and nurturing environment in order to stimulate creative learning through positive intellectual and social interactions and that is why we use the "Creative Curriculum".

All staff at Progressive Learning Academy encourages the development of social skills, such as playing, sharing, communicating, and resolving conflicts. Children are encouraged to express their feelings and to grow in self-confidence and independence. Everyday activities also promote cognitive, fine and gross motor, social, imaginative, language, and intergenerational skills.

Progressive Learning Academy provides an inclusive educational program. This means that we also serve children who have special educational, developmental, mental and behavioral needs. We feel this type of program fosters an atmosphere of acceptance and respect across all age groups and ability levels. Progressive Learning Academy provides services to children regardless of their race, color, sex, national origin, creed, or special needs.
