I am a young 60-year-old grandmother "Nana", who has been in a professional setting and wanting to change gears and do @ home care for children. I have a Master's degree in pediatric Nursing and have worked in both Emergency room and ICU. I am the eldestof 3 sisters and 6 brothers, I have raised 4 amazing children, and am blessed by 3 grandchildren. I have created a program for middle school children to support healthy self esteem/self expression. I love Babies and toddlers and preschoolers, each stage having unique gifts to us as care givers. I love the outdoors and believe in as much time outside as possible. I play the drum and love to sing (I started a womens' drumming/singing group). I teach an evening class on nutrition and stress management... I believe that nutritious food for all will contribute to world Peace. I love to cook. My child rearing style is child centered, attentive, playful, developmentally focused. I believe firm, consistent boundaries with doses of redirecting and reflecting the child's competence and goodness supports their self esteem.
