Ooh Belly is a full service Baby Planning & Concierge Company that provides services to new and expectant parents nationwide. From planning your baby shower and sending out birth announcements to helping you find the perfect Doula or Nanny, we do itall. Ooh Belly was founded in 2009 by Amie Salter, a certified Postpartum & Birth Doula who dedicated much of her time to serving families who typically could not afford her services. Amie Salter began her training as a Newborn Specialist and Birth & Postpartum Doula after years of working as a Nanny to Los Angeles families. After her certification, Amie worked closely with expectant families during labor and during the postpartum period. Amie Salter also became a professional sleep trainer, assisting families in getting their children to sleep through night from 12 weeks of age. After working as a Doula for several years, Amie expanded her business to include baby planning services. Amie realized that most professional antepartum and postpartum service companies serve high income families and those that can't afford their services are left without guidance and support. Every family deserves the support and care of a professional during these times. We strive to make our services available to all families. Ooh Belly is the first Baby Planning & Concierge company that meets every family's needs. Many families need support during pregnancy, adoption or surrogacy and continuing after birth - and frequently, those who can't afford this support are the ones that need it most. Supporting families through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, needs to include ALL families.We provide these services by using what we refer to as a "support one another" model. How It Works: At Ooh Belly, we firmly believe that giving is receiving. When securing our services, paying clients have the option of allocating a percentage of their payment to the Ooh Belly Fund. 100% of these funds will be used to provide services to families in need at minimal or zero cost to them. Every family deserves care and support and through this model, we can truly make that a possibility.
