Hello, my name is Sonia, I own and operate a large in-home licensed childcare. Ohana Childcare IS quality childcare. I am a mother of five children. Besides my children, I have worked for the school district as well as three daycare centers. I am certified in Pediatric/Adult CPR, First Aid, and Health Prevention. I have taken all Early Child Development and Education classes. I have cleared all background checks. As a parent, I know how difficult it is to find reliable, quality, and a safe learning environment for my child. As a childcare provider, I believe all children have their own unique way of learning and it is my job to find out what that may be, children learn through dramatic play, imagination, exploration, and through socialization. Here at Ohana Childcare, I provide all of those qualities and much more. Children do lots of arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading stories, and lots of playtime.
I have a classroom set up, an infant area, outside play area, a playroom that has a camera to watch children while preparing meals, as well as a girls room and boys room.

90% of my home is dedicated to your children and giving them enough space to play. My childcare is not just my living room and kitchen, it is my living room, dining room (which has been converted to a classroom), and 3 bedrooms full of toys for your children to learn and play in.
