I did my fair share of research when it came to looking for Home Care companies for my mom. I even gave another company a try for a week, and was really disappointed. I felt like they burned me, the person they sent was unqualified and didn't understand moms needs. When I called the agency with my concern I got the run around and was eventually told that I had a choice just to cancel service and get a bill!!!

Then I came to Care.com and found Newport Home Care, I'm telling you it was like night and day. Within minutes of my inquiry I got a call from a delightful young man who introduced himself as a care manager. The first thing I noticed was his professional tone of voice and genuine interest in hearing what our needs were. He was not about maximizing the hours that I wanted or hitting me with special deals and rates. The very next day I had a team of care manager's visit with my mom and I at her home to begin their assessment process. The amazing part about that was it all seemed so conversational, like we were talking with old family friends. What's more, they were able to get all the information they needed to begin caring for mom and we came away being thankful we found a company who knows how to do it all.

As if it could not get any better, the caregiver they sent was a hit with mom right away. She was bright, energetic, knowledgeable, and most importantly genuinely compassionate. She understood mom's needs and even anticipated them before we had to ask. She was everything Newport Home Care said she would be.

The bottom line is, this is a service that requires people that know what they're doing, from the first phone call to now, we continue to be impressed by a company that has blown the others out of the water.

Newport Home Care is an A+ company, I can only hope I have one of their caregivers by the time I need one.
