About
Nature's Nursery School is an outdoor preschool program based in and inspired by
Waldorf Early Childhood Education where children are 'nurtured in nature.' Parents may choose two or four day per week enrollment for the school year for children ages two years nine months and to five years old. We will meet from 9am to 12:30pm.
We will meet each week at a local state park rain or shine. On Mondays & Wednesdays we will spend time playing under the under the trees where the imagination is the limit as well as observing and tending to the chickens.
On Tuesdays & Thursdays the old cabin, along with the creek behind it will provide many great games as well as time shared with the horses.
For children enrolled Monday through Thursday their week will be enlivened by nature's bounty. Consistency and rhythm are the cornerstones of a happy and secure childhood. Songs and movement as well as meaningful work and play will help to guide us through the school year.
Meals are included. At Nature's Nursery School we strive to provide the most nourishing, fresh and organic food for the children's healthy development. It is our belief that feeding our children whole foods directly affects their quality of life and their ability to learn.
