My Second Home Family Child Care

I have a small group of five to six children of mixed ages so children learn from each other. They also have the benefit of learning how to socially interact with children of all ages. In addition, they are less likely to pick up illnesses with a small group of children than in a large day care facility.

We offer play-based learning in a familiar and safe home environment.

Children receive personalized care and get to know and bond with me. Day care centers tend to have high turnover and different staff in and out throughout the day/week.

I have very flexible scheduling. I am open to alter my hours to suit your needs.

I provide a "real life" learning environment.

Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks are served. (I am joining the food program.)

I am CPR/First Aid certified.

I offer a non-smoking and pet-free environment.

I am licensed by the state of Michigan.

I am a competent and knowledgeable caregiver.

I believe that young children learn best through playing and exploring the world around them. I am here to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and educational environment to help guide children into making the best choices for themselves, while teaching to share, communicate and interact with others. I also teach colors, shapes, numbers, letters, manners, and much more!
