After teaching preschool in the classroom, I recently changed direction and brought daycare (with an educational twist) into my home. My mission is to keep each individual child safe, healthy and happy while promoting age appropriate learning for thepreschool years and school readiness all with small group numbers! I stress total development of each child (physical, cognitive, social, and emotional) with hands-on learning and creativity preparing each child to enter kindergarten with a well-developed understanding of learning life lessons with a plethora of age appropriate experiences. My degree specializes in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, I am infant, child, and adult CPR and first aid certified, I am a member in good standing of NAEYC, SECA, and VA AECE.
