Experienced Caregiver Looking For 1 To 2 Children, Ages Newborn To Kindergarten, To Care For In My Home. I Am Available 7:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m., Mon.- Fri. I have childcare experience working in preschools as a teacher and in my home as a privatecaregiver. Recently, I have taken care of a little boy in my home since he was 2 months old. He will be going off to Kindergarten in the Fall. Caring for my own 4 children (ages 2-14) has given me valuable experience with children at all stages of development. I am great with newborns and really enjoy this precious age. Toddlers are energetic and inquisitive, and I like to help them learn while they play. Homemade playdough is always a hit with this age, and I encourage outdoor play in my backyard play area. Art is one of my hobbies that I like to share with the children. Music and story time are so important to developing early reading and math skills. Working puzzles and building with blocks help with problem solving skills. I believe in the "learning through play" philosophy. Children learn best when they are comfortable and secure with their surroundings.
