Little Sprouts Family Child Care

Hi parents, Little Sprouts is a licensed bilingual family daycare in Mission Bay neighborhood. We care for ages 3 months to 4 years old children. Little Sprouts Daycare offers a loving, nurturing, clean, and safe environment for your growing little ones. The happiness, growth, and development of our kids are important for us. Our goal is to provide an environment for your child to explore, create, and learn through structured learning and free play. my approach is well balanced between playing and learning, social emotional development and academic. We can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. We provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks daily. Our program opens Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:30PM.

Curriculum: We use The Creative Curriculum to plan and implement in daily activities. We provide responsive, intentional care and teaching during routines and learning experiences for young children. This curriculum helps us to use routine times to nurture children's curiosity, supports children feel secure, and create a language-rich environment with full of warm, loving, and meaningful interactions. We use daily care-giving routines and plan flexibly, adapting them to the moods, interests, and needs of the individual child as a whole group.We have the daily schedule go through the activities.The curriculum focus on four areas development: social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language. Four areas development focus on seven learning domains: language, literacy, mathematics, science, creative arts, and social-emotional development. Age appropriate activities will be schedule with the flexibility allowed to respond to the need of each individual child and their various ages.

About myself: My name is Sharon. I am an experienced teacher with B.A degree in Early childhood Education from San Francisco State University. Teaching and caring for young children are not only my profession, but also my passion. I have been working with young children over 16 years in San Francisco Head Start Program with different ages setting.
