My name is Shannon, and I am a mother of three wonderful children age 3, 9 and 12 years old. I have a bachelor's degree in Child Development and worked as a child welfare professional for 8 years specializing in foster care and adoption where I have hadthe opportunity to support and advocate for hundreds of children. I relocated 7 years ago back to Michigan to be near our family. I am hoping to continue to work with children in my community and would love the opportunity to care for your little one. Our home is smoke free, child friendly, and full of age appropriate, and educational toys. I have experience and the availability to care for infants, toddlers, preschool age, and school aged children should you need after school care in my area. I will only be caring for one or two children in addition to my 3 year old so I can devote the time needed to each child. I believe children need love and attention to flourish which I can guarantee in my home. My hours are flexible Monday to Friday.
