About
Little Lambs Child Care is a small family owned group child care center licensed to serve 30 children. Our child care setting has a comfortable home like atmosphere with spacious rooms and a large outdoor play area. We are conveniently located in the Village of Mukwonago and we serve families from the town and Village of Mukwonago, Eagle, East Troy, North Prairie and Waukesha.
The director earned a bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and has a teaching license from the State of Wisconsin. She has 20 years experience in the child care industry and also serves as the lead teacher in the 4 year old classroom.
Our talented teachers meet or exceed the educational requirements for child care teachers and all have previous experience in early childhood education.
Our curriculum is theme based and we offer a preschool program which includes activities such as circle time, reading, art, writing, Spanish, field trips music, and much more. Our curriculum is also Christian based and we celebrate the religious holidays and learn Christian songs. One of our teachers is a music major so many times she plays the guitar or organ while the children sing.
Our facility has a new kitchen in which we make our own nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
The mission of Little Lambs Child Care is to always practice high quality care in every way. We offer programs conducive to educational, physical, emotional, and social development suited to the age and development of each child. We provide a nurturing environment that supports family values, respects the child, and encourages learning through exploration.
