My name is Myrna Root and I provide child care out of a home in Cibolo. I am a native Spanish speaker with advanced fluency in English and Spanish. I have worked in child care for over 20 years and can't imagine doing anything else. I am the mother oftwo grown children and a grandmother, who emphasizes providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all the kids in my care. I speak mostly Spanish to the children (unless a parent requests otherwise), and teach them the language through immersion and direct instruction. However, I begin at their level of communication and understanding. I make learning fun, it's play--never work!
