Ms. Megan is a horrible person and I wish I would've listen to myself when I felt something wasn't rite withthis woman...i met the owner and she is a beautiful woman...her name is ms reeta...i have seen so many teachers come in and out of that place and my daughter hasn't been going to school that long...it's just her and a woman name Chelsea that is there now...Ms Chelsea is very impatient with the kids...i was trying to talk to my daughter one day before I parted ways with her acc Chelsea continued to try and get my child to walk away from me...i kindly pulled my daughter closer to me to say walk away because I'm talking to my baby... Megan is money hungry and she is going to cause reeta to lose her business one day...not only do I see negative things...I've heard negative things as well about this woman on the streets...my mom ran into a teacher one day and she expressed how mean Megan is to the kids...enough is enough...I'm shop over this place...its unfortunate reeta can't be there rite now...that's the only way I would bring my child back there

My family LOVED this place in the beginning. The owner, Ms. Syreeta, poured her heart and soul into the kids. She truly helped us get through the transition from staying at home to entering daycare. Our daughter was happy and she was learning so much.

However, with new management came drastic change. Ms. Megan took over as director in Ms. Rita's absense. My daughter was left poorly cleaned after a diaper change, resulting in her sitting in her own feces for nearly two hours until she got home. I walked in on a staff member cleaning the bathroom while my daughter was in there, and my two year old was being allowed to play with a dirty toilet brush. Staff turnover is very high and the quality of caregivers isn't the same. We witnessed one of them screaming at children at pickup time. If they're screaming at kids while parents are around, what happens when we're not there? They decided not to feed them breakfast one day. The director justified it by saying that she didn't ask for food. Since when is it a two year old's job to remind an adult that it's meal time? When these issues have been brought to Ms. Megan's attention, she responds with excuses rather than solutions.

And now, on top of all this, Megan is turning our children into cash cows. They've instituted an "extracurricular" soccer program. It takes place during daycare hours, at the facility, but children whose parents haven't paid extra for the "soccer lessons" are singled out from the rest of the group and denied the same playtime. We were made to buy into this "extra" program so that our two year old wouldn't be forced to sit and cry because she doesn't understand why she's being excluded.

They sent home a sales sheet for subs. "Money generated... will go to marketing of the daycare." Excuse me? My child's job isn't to earn you extra money. They already get weekly payments. If they want money for marketing, they need to work it into the budget.

From every angle, our kids are no longer the priority. Intentional or not, our children have been robbed of the care that they received under Ms. Syreeta.

This place was a true answer to our prayers. Ms. Rita built an amazing environment for kids to thrive in. The education we've received here is top notch. It honestly breaks my heart to say this, but at this point, it feels like the haven we loved is gone.

We are so thankful for the Academy! Ms. Syretta is absolutely the best!!! She and the staff provide a loving, safe, nurturing, environment. Positive social and educational values are modeled and taught.

My oldest attended here when he was four and has returned every summer for the past 5 years. He loves getting together with his old friends. Ms. Syretta encourages their long-term friendships throughout the year as well. Now I have two little ones (3 and 4) that attend and they love every day they are there. This is a second home to them, where they are nurtured. She models good behavior and manners and focuses on loving and nurturing behaviors and attitudes. She fosters a safe learning environment and the children excel in academics because of her efforts. I would encourage anyone looking for a clean, safe, loving and nurturing environment to consider sending his or her children here.

When my girlfriend left her two children in my care, I took them over to the center, registered them as part time and drop off care so they could have much needed interaction with well cared for, very well behaved children. The amount of time and energy spent by the owner is phenomenal. The other children welcomed them and wasted no time showing them the ropes. As one of the kids has downs syndrome, his experience was so enjoyed and so non threatening that I am encouraging his mother to register them full time for the summer. She also works very closely with Dauphin county therapeutic services.

My son started care under Ms. Syretta when he was 4 years of age. Now at the age of 12 he still like to back and spend time with Ms. Syretta and the "old gang" during the summer. I can't say enough good things about her. She's flexible, dependable and most of all caring. She truly cares about the well-being and growth of each child. Ms. Syretta caters to each child's individual needs. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for someone to love and care for their child the way they would.

My son calls it his second home. Not only are they caring and loving, but we continue to return to visit even after he started school.

My son is an honor student and we'll mannered all thanks to the director Syretta! He was prepared for school and excels in class.

I don't have the words to describe how fortunate I feel to have found this center. The owner and primary care giver is extremely loving towards these kids and treats them as her own. My son loves and respects her. He has learned positive behavior, proper manners and is excited every day to go to "school". My son already knows much of what will be taught in kindergarten a year from now. My older son was in several daycares over the years and this daycare is worlds above any he was in. I love this center!

My daughter attended for 5 years, I LOVE IT! (and did she!!) She was molded into a wonderful citizen of the community. Manners were reinforced and encouraged. My daughter was more than ready to start school and excelled when she did. We still visit "our family".
