Kids Will Be Kids is the ultimate gem for childcare. There is something extraordinarily special about Debbie and the magical world she creates in her home for children. Our son wakes up every morning excited to go play and learn in his wonderland. We love the name of Debbie's place because literally, kids get to be kids, and we admire how much imagination shines through and the hands on learning that happens.

The children eat so many homemade meals they get to help prepare. Everyone gets their own special birthday party. There are many themed parties throughout the year and summertime is so fun! Outdoor play is far from limited all year long. Lesson plans are creative and often include crafts - again lots of hands on learning!

Everyone who attends are good friends, regardless of age. They all grow together, play together and teach each other and it's so cool to watch the older kids integrate with the littles as heroes and mentors.

Finding a safe and loving environment for our children is an extremely high priority, as I am sure for any parent. Debbie and her family have become our family and I know our son is ultimately getting the best care and needs met in their hands. It's such a nurturing and an incredible place to grow up. I highly recommend Kids Will Be Kids.

I no longer have children at home, but if my granddaughters lived in that location of Port Orchard and were in need of daycare I would definitely recommend this daycare to my daughter! I have been to their lovely kid friendly environment home! There is so much love and warmth that emulates the minute you are welcomed at their door! Miss Debbie is one of the most caring and compassionate child rearing person that I know and she takes pride for and about your child's daily routine without compromising attention for each and every child's care needs!

This is my mother's daycare. While I may be slightly biased, KWBK is one of the most kid-centered, fun, caring daycares I've come across. The ages of the kids range from infancy to twelve years old, so there's almost always someone of the child's age to play with. The only rooms of the house that are not employed for daycare use are the bedrooms and laundry room; the kids have the run of the house otherwise, and the house is filled with toys and games and crafts! Every birthday my mother makes a cake and buys a present for the child, and every holiday my mother throws a holiday-themed party for the kids--with a present on Christmas! The kids receive homework help and sometimes help bake the afternoon snack--with me, if I'm home from graduate school!

Some of the families who use my mother's daycare have used her for the duration of the child's time in elementary school (the daycare is *literally* situated on the road directly behind the elementary school, so the kids are walked to and from every day)--which sometimes amounts to nine years that the kids will have been with us. Many of them have grown up at my mother's daycare and consider it a second home. If you have any questions, I'm sure any of my mom's daycare parents would be happy to answer them. Just contact Debbie Lear for references!
