I have my grandson attending this daycare. I have seem his cup with sour milk into it, even maggots . One day my grandson had a bowel moment in his underwear and it was handed back to my daughter. Who hands a bag full of stool and dirty underwear and clothes. The owner takes off 2 weeks off in August and one day off each month plus payments must be made for days off. The front door is locked and parents arent allowed to walk in , questionable ways .

Hello Marie. I would like to start off with an apology as I did not see this review till now. This is the first that my staff or I are hearing of such incidents that have allegedly occurred in my childcare program. In the 13years that I have had this program I have never seen any maggots of any sort in a child's cup. Each child's cup is monitored and cleaned appropriately. These matters are something that I would think would be of great importance to of been discussed in great length with anyone taking care of your child or grandchild. I have never handed back any soiled clothing with feces to a parent. In fact, the parents are given the option of whether or not they would like me to launder it myself or return home, clearly without any feces in the clothing. Yes, as of last year I have started to close the daycare for two week s in August. This decision came after 12 years of not closing the daycare for other than the school approved closings. Lets be realistic now, we all have to worry and take care of our mental health in order to provide the appropriate and best care for the children that depend on us on a daily basis in order to succeed. In response to the statement of one day off each month as I stated previously this daycare follows the school approved closings which would be the only days that are off. Payments from the parents or state are discussed and reviewed in great depth prior to start in order to avoid any confusion as you are stating. The front door to the daycare is in fact locked due to security reasons. I would like to think that the parents are rest assured that their loved ones are safe and in a secure area. At no point have I ever turned away any parent that wanted to enter. Any parent was more than welcomed to enter the daycare program as some did (with Covid-19 now things have changed) but at the time this was written, parents were given the option of dropping off their child and leaving as well as having their child ready at the door as they are getting out of work and would like to get home themselves. We here are big on communication and I would urge you to if in fact these statements were true and things of this manner occurred with any child at any child care setting to address it at the time of the alleged incident. I am more than confident in the quality of care that is given in this program and as my waiting list and parents that have had their child enrolled here for years with multiple siblings, speaks for itself.

I have had the pleasure for over 11years to have Highland Daycare as an extended part of our family. As my journey with them began with my son who is now 11 years old and is still able to attend the after school program. Which helps me tremendously with all that middle school homework! I now have an about to be 2year old daughter who has joined the Highland Daycare family and is attending the Daycare. I have seen Highland Daycare grow alongside of all the precious children. I am very blessed to have found a home daycare that has such an outgoing yet very structured learning environment. I know when my toddler is at school age she will be more than prepared as was my son. She will also be pre-school ready. Thanks to Miss. Marleny and her phenomenal staff! Thank you for all you guys do for the children while also keeping the parents in mind!

Highland Day Care is the best daycare I have seen in Fall Rivers MA. Not only do they worry about what needs to be done but they worry about how to make the parents life easier. It is very hard for me to find a flexible yet accredited day care for the simple reason that i work 2nd shift. I am a nurse and my job doesnt necessarily mean i get out at 11pm on the dot for that reason I am more then grateful for the flexiblity that has been provided to me at Highland Day Care. Knowing that my child is taken care of in a manner that his own family would take care of him lets me be able to put my 100% into my patients and not have to be worried throughout my shift if my child is properly being cared for. That feeling alone is tremendous, and to top it off my son's homework is done and checked by the staff. The structure, cleanliness, and education provided is top of the notch. My son has been enrolled her for 5 years and i would not change one bit of it. Thank you Highland DayCare for sharing your love to my love...

I'm so grateful that I was recommended HIghland Daycare from multiple parents. I am a parent of two small children I have no other choice but to work to provide for my family but leaving them was terribly hard for my children as well as myself. Miss Marleny as well her remarkable staff welcomed my children and made them feel so comfortable and at ease. When I leave my children at the daycare I know and feel comfortable knowing that they are definately well cared for. The techniques that are used by Highland Day Care Program are phenomenal!!!

I've had my three children in Highland Day Care for 5 years now and I'm extremely satisfied with the services provided to my family. I have 2 children with speech delays. Since my children attended the Highland Day Care program I'm free to say that I've seen so much improvements that by the age of 5 it's my child was able to start kindergarten as a regular child in school with out speech therapy thanks to Miss Marleny. I was over joyed to have this experience. I would say I'd be a Highland Day Care parent/customer till my children grow old enough to care for themselves. It's extremely clean, organized, flexible, educational structural for all cultures and ages. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!
