If you choose to use her services, make sure you have a solid back up plan. They are closed many days throughout the year (personal days) in addition to holidays, vacations, and for inclement weather. Also make sure you are comfortable with your child going outside often. I would not suggest Lisa. Lisa believes that families should conform to her schedule, meaning that if your baby does not nap daily from 1 to 3, there will be a problem. Most care centers try to make you feel welcomed, Lisa did the exact opposite, often times not even looking in our direction to speak when we would drop off. We contacted Lisa to inform her that we were not happy with how we were being treated and wanted to have a meeting with her. The next day, while our daughter was in the hospital emergency room, we received an email from Lisa stating that our daughter was no longer welcomed and we had two weeks to find another daycare. No call, no discussion just a cold hearted email. We had already suspected she was trying to make us feel so unwelcomed that we would leave on our own, but expected some degree of professionalism and compassion, especially when it concerns one's child.
Maybe Lisa was just making room for another child. Maybe she didn't like the fact that as a family that always paid on time we expected a certain level of accommodating service for that payment. Maybe she wasn't comfortable dealing with or having a professional conversation with us. Maybe she didn't like our beautiful baby. Who knows? She gave nonsense reasons only after confronted about her unprofessionalism.
I'm not mad, just disappointed. Disappointed because I should have listened to my gut when we first met her and she looked like it hurt to smile. I'm disappointed that she blamed us for not providing enough changes of clothes when she obviously waited too long to change my baby. I'm disappointed that I should've changed my baby to another facility much sooner. Since leaving my baby has gained weight, and is thriving.
