A few years ago I decided to pursue my dream of opening my own home daycare where I could offer aquality service at a fair price. I had years of experience working in schools, hospitals, and care centers and knew the level individualized care was lacking due to the sheer size of the operations. Their focus was profit driven, not on nurturing the little ones who spent hours a day at the facility. Something about seeing a child get seemingly lost in a sea of toddlers tugged at my heart strings. I knew that I could offer a better option. So I did. I have been successfully running my own home daycare for a handful of years now, and could not be happier! <br/>My goal is to offer parents a respite by giving them a safe place to bring their children to learn, grow, and blossom into their own unique selves. I have a passion for working with children and I enjoy every minute of the day seeing all of the little milestones each child reaches. Providing quality childcare is not just a job for me, it is my world. <br/>Each day I strive to enrich the children's lives. We focus on cognitive, emotional, and social skills through various types of play, reading, sensory activities, music, arts and crafts, and outings throughout the day.
