Crystal's Crib: Specializing In Infants

Crystal's Crib is a Texas State Licensed In-Home Daycare located in North Dallas that specializes in infants from the ages of 6 weeks to 18 months. Your infant will have all the comforts and security of a home-like setting and being able to socialize andlearn with a low teacher to baby ratio of 1 to 4. Since opening, she has raised over 15 infants and has exceptional reviews from all of her current and past families that enrolled with her. Crystal received her Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in May of 2009. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Development and her minor in Early Childhood Education. She has worked as a Lead Teacher at a Child Development Center in Allen, TX and then moved up into the position as the Assistant Director at a State Licensed Child Development; Early Learning Center in North Dallas. Crystal's Crib is certified through the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services as a Licensed In-Home Daycare which guarantees the best exceptional policies and guidelines to follow. Crystal and all her staff are CPR and Infant First Aid certified by the American Heart Association and completes 40 hours of CEU's on a yearly basis. The location has passed all Fire and Health Inspections by the State of Texas and local Fire Department. Crystal also has her Independent Certification in Baby Sign Language and teaches her program of Baby Signs during the day within her curriculum while educating the infants on how to communicate their first words of needs and wants through hand & visual communication. Another program that she implements is Your Baby Can Read. The infant's daily curriculum is prepared and structured to focus on by their age to help them develop and achieve in areas of: Sensory, Visual and Hearing Development, Listening, Literature and Music, Fine and Large Motor skills, Problem Solving and Social and Emotional Growth. The infants will have daily outside play time in a stimulating environment where they are learning through discover and free play. Enrolled families get weekly portfolios that show your child's development and what they are learning.
