Christa's Little Learning House: Home based child care. My primary goal for every child, is that they become lifelong disciples of Christ and are taught to obey Him in all things. I also strive to make learning fun. I want children to love the truth andlove learning. My name is Christa and I have worked in the child care field full-time since December of 2010. I have worked around and with children of varying ages since around 2003. I truly enjoy getting to witness a child discover something new, be it spiritually or academically. I do have a male Shih Tzu who loves people. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I am also voluntarily registered with Social Services. I seek to provide a nurturing environment for your child and to offer a high quality program that addresses the whole development of the child -- spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The first five years are very important and together we can help your child to excel academically and to develop a love for God, good self-esteem, and other positive character traits. During the school year your child will enjoy a themed weekly lesson plan which involves times for learning about God, academics (phonics and numbers), arts and crafts, skills development, story time, circle time, music time, indoor and outdoor play. During the summer activities include Bible lessons, Bible memory verses, monthly themes, arts and crafts, water play, picnics, gardening, and light academic review. Your child will be provided breakfast, a.m. snack, lunch, and p.m. snack. I participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program and follow their guidelines for providing healthy meals.
