The company is a great company to work for. The nurses are very caring and definitely follow up on the patient's needs. It's funny how nurses who worked less than a week in a month's period due to personal issues beyond the companies control and are part of the lack of accountability issue have the audacity to make comments. Maybe if you were employed somewhere, you would not have the time and energy to sabotage yourself!

My husband a disabled Veteran with a mental condition has lost 2 caregivers due to checks that wouldn't clear told to me by them, they were excellent caregivers.
I'm not sure how they hire but the 3rd caregiver I left my husband with for 2 hours only to come home find him wondering outside, she clearly had fallen asleep. Called to let them know I no longer wanted her, No one from Altruist ever called to apologize.
I put one star because it requires it.

To this day checks still bounce so bad you can't cash her check anywhere in Dallas. Plus she owes people money and won't pay. I can't believe state hasn't walked in on this fraud. A nurse shows up for a start of care and no visits after that they pay people to write nurses notes for visits that didn't occur.

Run from this company. My last 4 checks have either bounced or have come late. I'm now on 5 days and still have not recieved my check from the 5th. The 2 checks before that bounced. The one before that they had to over night me. So many payday laws are being broken with this company. And all I recieve is I am sorry this is happening. The CEO is a multi-million dollar business owner! She's making her bank while I'm arguing to recieve my checks. DO NOT become employeed with this company.

Altruist looks great on paper but management is horrible and employees like trash. They don't care about their patients, only a check from the insurance companies. They are very unprofessional and the culture is brutal. They have a very "HIGH TURN OVER RATE" one that I have Never seen in the history of my employment. Please "RUN FOR THE HILLS" or you will regret it. I had No choice to walk away with my so this is Not a disgruntled employee. Don't believe all the positive reviews which were written by employees compelled to do so. RUN FOR THE HILLS or you will be saying I should have believed that review. Overall, the culture is very toxic, negative, and very, hostile.
This owner does not pay Nurses for hours worked. This company really should Not be in business. The state of Texas needs to be called on this company. They need to be shut down.

julie told me their are no temporay caregivers at all to help me until she found someone else. she told me to transfer to another agent. the caregiver i have now my mom i have notice is that she is lazy when she wash my hair not enough shampoo she didnt help clean the pts room my mom and i would ask to keep my bathroom clean eveyday. she only clean it when we ask she should have know this from the start. she would a;ways be late for wok. then i promise by jule from day one. if my mom had to go in the hosptal their would be someone to stay with me. at night. when my mom was in the hospotal short notcie she couldnt find anyone. jule from the office has made me cry. like she didnt even want try to help me find anoter caregiver. she is the one that told me to transfer. if she would have worked with i would stay julie cant find a temporay caregiver until she found someone new. yall are supposed to work and make the pt feel better with a good match this caregiver is not a match she is lazy. the nurse rhat came to house to check on me where really great. and the man that is working with me on my vitgo is great. julie in the office wont work with me and is the one that told me to transger

Very poorly run company. I am an LVN and was not even paid $1000 for a months work as well as no payment for the last week I worked.
