At Adora ELA, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment where children can learn and grow through their ages and stages of development in an environment that promotes play-based learning! According to the American Academy ofPediatrics, play is essential to development contributing to the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of healthy brain growth. From our infant tummy time, toddlers playing peek-a-boo and building towers, to preschoolers pretending to rocket into outer space, child-directed play builds strength and dexterity, creativity, reasoning, problem solving skills and self confidence. In our Adora Early Learning classrooms we encourage free choice and self-exploration to guide our curriculum that is not just child-directed but also teacher-directed through daily assessments to build and grow both key developmental skills and academic milestones. As part of our global citizenship, Adora ELA focuses on children's social and emotional development fostering upstanding character with respect for the global community. By partnering with local businesses and creating a garden of our own we at Adora promote farm-to-table family style nutritional balanced meal times. This supports the development of positive relationships, social interaction and emotional intelligence with peers and the local community.
