Algebra Tutors in Lafayette

I am a tutor who is passionate about helping high school students with math! I received my degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2010. I have 10 years of experience as an engineer, so I am able to incorporate real world application into my lessons. I think being able to demonstrate how concepts are used in STEM fields is what helps to make learning math more fun and interesting. I am reliable, patient, encouraging, and attentive to the individual students needs so we can work towards meeting their goals. The subjects I specialize in are: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, and Calculus. I hope to work with you soon!

I love helping others learn, because it helps me learn too! I have a great amount of informal experience tutoring grades 1-8 as well as some high school and paid experience with college students. I have tutored general courses such as geometry, algebra, english, biology, anatomy & physiology, environmental science, basic Spanish, basic Latin, chemistry, etc. all of which I have taken during high school and/or college. My favorite subjects are biology, anatomy, and environmental science, as well as grammar, writing, and Latin. I have a 3. 48 GPA and highest performance in STEM and english classes.
