Using play-based activity centers the children are provided the opportunity to choose between quiet activities and active play throughout the day. We provide a sufficient quantity and variety of materials and play equipment appropriate to the ages of the children and their developmental levels and interests, which promote the children's cognitive, educational, social, cultural, physical, emotional, language and recreational development. Our early childhood educators &amp; play-based curriculum meet early learning standards. We strive for low teacher to child ratios allowing for individual &amp; small group interactions in addition to whole group instruction. Our learning centers include but are not limited to: literacy, math, writing, sensory, computers, science &amp; nature, small motor skills, art, building &amp; vehicles, and dramatic play. Weather permitting, the children engage in neighborhood walks and time on age appropriate, park-like playgrounds every day. In addition to above, our programming offers (upon availability) special programs such as: inter-generational relationships &amp; activities, music classes, dance &amp; theater, field trips and special events &amp; celebrations. We offer school age care for before &amp; after school and on school closings. We also to accept children when there is a half day at the elementary school and a weekly rate is available during school breaks. Our Summer Camp Program allows our school age children to attend full-time during the summer break. This group goes on weekly outings from the center and enjoys themed activities each week. M-F with drop offs by 7 a.m. and pick ups by 6 p.m. 10% family discount for each additional child in my care. I am an at home mother of two children. I have a 20 year old daughter who attends a community college and a 17 year old son who attends HS as a senior. I also have 7 nieces and nephews. Formerly as a full-time working mother, I am all too familiar with the needs of child care. I found comfort in a private day care provider who gave my children a comfortable place to be during the hours before and after school and during early dismissals. I have unfortunately experienced the cons of other day care services that I found to be run mostly by teenagers. I was more comfortable with a private provider knowing that my children were safe and cared for in a home environment. I have a lovely home located in Blooming Grove bordering Monroe and Chester, conveniently located 1/2 mile from each Rt 17, Rt 17M, Rt 94 and Rt 208. I am in the Monroe Woodbury School District and my street is on a bus route. I have plenty of room for your children to relax, stretch their legs, play basket ball or start their homework while they're in my care.
