Hello! My name is Katherine. I have a before and after school program but this summer I am also offering in home child care/summer camp for rising kindergarteners - rising 6th graders. I graduated college in 2005 with an early childhood education degree and taught Kindergarten in Ohio. When I moved to VA, in 2007, I taught 4/5 grade. I am CPR and first aid certified. My husband, Marc, and I own a home in the beautiful Ivy Hill Subdivision in Warrenton, VA. Your child's day will be packed with fun activities and weekly field trips which may include swimming, water parks, National Zoo, parks, picnics, arts and crafts, tie dyeing, sports and lots more! I will only be accepting 5 children in addition to my own as it is very important to me to offer individualized attention! You can sign up for a little as one week or all weeks. Additional hours are available upon request for an additional fee. Week 1: May 30- June 3 Week 2: June 6-10 Week 3: June 13-16 Week 4: June 20-24 Week 5: June 27- July 1 Week 6: July 5-8 ( closed July 4th) Week 7: July 11-15 Week 8: July 18-22 CLOSED Week 9: July 25-29 Week 10: Aug 1-5 Week 11: Aug 8-12 When school begins, I will be offering before and after school care for children who attend Bradley Elementary School. We are Going Bananas and we are 2 stay-at-home moms, one of us with a degree, and 20+ years of experience. We offer in home child care for children ages 2-5 and before and after care for school-ages. We provide an extremely clean and safe environment for children as well as nutritious lunches and snacks during the day. We play outside, take walks, do arts and crafts, have story time and participate in learning activities. We are currently enrolled in a CPR/First Aid course and will have completed it by April 15th 2009. Together we have 7 children of our own, all of whom are in school.
