In the age of social media, face to face social skills are often neglected. Learning to engage verbally, negotiate and handle conflict, express ones thoughts &amp; needs are all important life skills that we support. Taking responsibly for ones choices we also lovingly reinforce. Kindness and respect to others is modeled by our certified, experiences staff. Our theme based curriculum is tailored to each age group, focusing on beginning Math, Science, Reading and Writing. Regular teacher evaluations help gauge each child's progress. We work closely with Early Intervention if a child needs more focused support in Speech, Occupational Therapy for large &amp; small motor skills, and other growth areas. We care for children ages 8 weeks to 10 years old, in 5 classrooms on our large campus. With spacious outdoor play areas ( one for each class), our children spend a large part of their day exploring nature, climbing, swinging, digging in sand, and engaging in play with peers. During Summer, our Summer Camp program includes use of our in ground wading pool, field trips with bus transportation for older campers and on site special visitors and events. The Ice Cream Man visits weekly! Our Summer Camp has a tradition of creating happy Summer memories for children, many who return each Summer for years! Our Before/After School program for grades K to 5th also provides care on school holidays. Developed &amp; funded by a grant from IBM in 1999, our large school age space supports the school age child when they return from the structured public school day.
