Classroom teacher conferences with parents are held three times throughout the year to ensure that all areas of social, emotional and academic development are progressing and continued to be challenged. Core Programs Our Core Programs are designed to meet your child’s needs the year round. We accept children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 1/2. You may choose to enroll your child in either the 10-month program August through May or the 12-month program. Students may enroll for all or part of the summer program during June and July. Summer camp information is available in April each year. Year round, all programs are available for 5 days a week, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays), or 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Extended Day Program Edgewood Academy assists our working parents by offering an Extended Day schedule for their children Monday through Friday and selected holidays. We open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm. During Extended Day, the students are still learning and growing through the varied activities carefully planned by our Extended Day Teachers. Additionally, our Extended Day Teachers work with the Kindergarten students in completing homework assignments and special projects. A healthy afternoon snack is provided by Edgewood and the students enjoy outdoor recess time so that their gross motor skills continue to develop.
