After 13 years I decided to continue my care for children as a nanny for 7 years. One of the many things I enjoyed as a nanny was homeschooling. I also worked as lead teacher in the two's classroom at Childtime in Carrolton. I do have experience with special needs in the area of autism as does Ms. Elise. Ms. Elise and I are educated in early childhood development and CPR/first aid certified. She has worked for several different families as a nanny as well as tutoring in an extended day program at a private elementary school. Most recently she worked at La Petite Academy as a lead teacher in the infant classroom. Just a few of the activities in our home daycare include but aren't limited to: finger plays and rhymes, story time, science for young children, reading and math prep skills, arts and crafts, dramatic play, sensory and textile discovery, music and movement, sports, exploring and other outdoor activities.
