Strong Academy seeks to be the best Family Child Care Home in our area. Hours of operation for Strong Academy are based on my clients' needs, therefore it changes as new clients are registered. Details: Strong Academy has come about by my desire and calling to make a difference in the lives of children. Your child will grow and learn alongside my children and will be loved unconditionally. I am a home-school mom of four. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to care for your child. We are a Christian home child care provider that provides preschool so that your child(ren) will be prepared for kindergarten! We learn letter sounds along with letter recognition, numbers, colors and shapes and we do a lot of hands on crafts (painting, play dough, blocks, puzzles, reading, etc. We work with parents to meet your desired goals to best of our ability. Standard Holidays observed by Strong Academy are: *New Year's Day, *Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, *Memorial Day, *Independence Day, *Labor Day, *Thanksgiving Day, *Veteran's Day, *Christmas Day. There is no reduction in tuition for these holidays. No tuition rebate is given for sick days or days that Strong Academy is closed for holidays, bad weather or circumstances beyond our control. All children are allowed one week of vacation. The vacation week is a free week, however, children should not attend during that week. Strong Academy will have a week paid vacation in August in which you will need to make other childcare arrangements. Parents will be notified of the exact week well in advance. Should you choose to take a family vacation, I expect a two-week notice. Preschool education is provided. Potty training assistance will be provided.
