Think Smart Outreach Center, Inc is a nonprofit youth organization located in Erwin, NC. The program is open to all students regardless of race, sex, religious preference, soci-economic level, etc. Our program is a NC State license Kinder Prep (ages 2 to 5) and before/ after school program (ages 5-12). Our Kinder Prep Program is our Early Learning Program and it assist students to be ready for Kindergarten. The program provides educational and social curriculum's, the students learn French and Spanish, we implement daily devotionals, students learn their alphabets, their numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week, months of the year, and so much more. We also provide recreational activities and activities for students to use their imagination. The after school program focuses on the student's academic and social needs. We provide homework assistance, tutoring, arts/craft, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and Kids Cafe (program funded by North Carolina Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Food Bank of Eastern North Carolina) to provide a hot full course meal for students at the end of our after school program. Our after school staff works in collaboration with the student's day time teacher in which we conduct school visits to see how we can help the students during the after school program. Our program offers holiday celebrations, family involvement activities, computers in all classroom with Internet and transportation is provided in certain areas in the county. Chief Executive Director is a Level II Child Care Administrator (highest level is Level III and Chief Executive Director is one course away from Level III and will enroll in that course Spring 2013) Chief Executive Director has all the credentials required by the State of North Carolina to operate a Child Care Center Teachers have all the credentials required by the State of North Carolina to work in a Child Care Security cameras for monitoring Staff members are carefully screened Staff members receive criminal background check prior to employment Staff members receive fingerprinting and have to be cleared by SBI to work in a child care facility Staff members have completed First Aid and CPR Classes Staff members attend classes/training in child care and must have 10 hours trainings per year We accept Daycare Vouchers (ages 2 to 12 years old) through Department of Social Services We accept Childcare Assistance Funds (ages 2 to 12 years old) through College Assistance

I have a huge playroom full of toys and a slide for both boys and girls. I can prepare food, do light cleaning, school drop off/pickup and assist with homework. If it were at my home I can provide food and if there are any allergies I can work with that too as my daughter has food allergies. I believe that children need someone to be hands-on with them and take advantage of their young minds willing to learn. I love to read aloud, finger paint, go outside for imagination adventures and teach them all that they need to know to excel in school. I am available for whatever time or days you need. Location is not a problem I am willing to travel to watch or pickup and bring home. If you are only needing someone for after school care or to take and pick your child up from school I can help with that too. Pay is negotiable. However I can help just let me know!
