This is definitely my calling in life. I take care of babies ranging in age from newborns to 5 years old, and even after school children if needed. I do circle time, calender time, potty training of course, arts and crafts, school work with children 3 and up. We bake, have birthday parties for each child since that is their special day. I read at least 10 books a day, usually I let the children pick the books out that they want me to read for the day, that's always fun. I always get library cards for each child too so they can learn how to check their own books out. I also like to take them to lunch every 2 weeks or so just for good behavior, lets them know they are doing really well. Nap time, eating time, and snack time are at the same time every day. As well as everything else, I do believe that having a schedule can be your best friend. We also brush our teeth every day after lunch, which is right before nap time.
