As owner and director of our small day care and preschool, I personally have 35 plus years teaching and working with young children. We are a licensed center, approved for 32 children. We offer hot meals, full curriculum, and a kindergarten readiness program, along with basics such as assisting with potty training, etc. Ages of children are 2 1/2 through kindergarten...however we also offer before and after school age care. We have a smoke-free property/environment, offer toothbrushing after meals, have a large and well-equipped playground with large bike area...all completely fenced. We are conveniently located off Hwy 30, only 1 mile southwest of Cedar Springs Elementary School in Scotsdale/House Springs. We pride ourselves in a spotless center and our one-on-one approach with Kindergarten Readiness. As a small school, we have the feeling of a large family. Our environment is open with 10 learning centers accessible to the children to help promote decision making, etc. Monthly we address a Character trait through stories, songs or dramatic play. Families are encouraged to attend our many functions and activities outside the center quarterly.

I will provide a structured day with play based learning, daily story time, art, yoga, and outdoor play while also adhering to the schedule that you have for your child. During the school year (September-May), we work on a preschool curriculum for children that are 2 and up as well as potty training assistance when you are ready. In my home, I will provide: Daily routines, breakfast, lunch and snack for children 1 and up. Art, outside play and daily reading time. I will provide care for newborns on up. I also provide before and after school care~Freer Elementary is one block from my home and the bus stop is in front of my house! I have excellent references, am CPR/First Aid certified and have a current, and clear Family Safety Care Registry and fingerprint check.
