Family of 5 (mom, dad, twins, cute pup) seeking caregiver for our sweet & charming daughter who has autism, general gross/fine motor delays & hearing loss (she wears aids). Her range of interests include musical theater/singing, instruments, books and storytelling, nature, animals, and all things Harry Potter. Our two avail positions include: 1- after school and/or weekends to support her learning life skills & to engage her socially with fun activities. 2- Attend Day camp w/her to help transitions/participation w/typically dev campers (July 31-aug 18) Our ideal candidate has experience with special-needs folks and has the calm confidence to gently support her moving through moments of overwhelm/big emotions. She needs someone who can engage her in a fun way & create a schedule, so she doesn't perseverate on just familiar activities.

Must be able to travel from queens to Long Beach for the summer. There are more hours when there is no school. Looking for a special needs caregiver for our son. He is warm loving and eager to play!. Looking for a babysitter for my adorable 7-year-old daughter. We live in Forest Hills , Queens. The hours are somewhat flexible but about 4-5 times a week 3-7 p.m. You would take her off the bus, help with homework, play with her, and take her to any after school activities. She is really fun to play with and the best person would be someone friendly, warm, who is amazing at imaginative play. If you have special ed. experience that is strongly preferred.

Looking for a respite/comhab worker to work with my adorable 6-year-old daughter. For those not familiar with those programs. They are through the state for special needs kids. You would register and then get paid on the books. My daughter needs someone who loves to play particularly with dolls, dress up, and is good at pretending. She loves to pretend she's a princess, a witch, a fairy etc. She's a lot of fun! She is verbal but has articulation issues. The more you're with her the more you can understand her. I need someone with availability on the weekends AND/OR during the week after 4 p.m. Special ed and ABA experience preferred.

We pay our caregiver through a NY program so working papers are needed.
