My daughter is 23 with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She requires assistance with all facets of daily living. She is currently in grad school for Social Work doing her clinical rotation at a hospital. We are looking for companion care for her during the day roughly from 8:00 to 4:00 on Monday, Thursday and Friday. There is also the possibility of accompanying her to classes in NY on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Your duties would consist of either driving her in my van or meeting her at clinical, setting her up on her computer, helping with meals and providing general assistance through the course of the day. Once she is settled, your time is your own unless she needs assistance.
