Quality Of Life Requires Exceptional Care
My name is Jessica and I am experienced with a very strong skill set in working with people with neurological deficits. I have seen the clinical side of adult care and the home side of care. I had the privilege of caring for my mother who began having dementia symptoms at age of 56 and ensuring that she never stepped a foot into a nursing home. There are a bunch of tricks and skill sets that are acquired when one is the primary caretaker of someone with neurological impairments. Caring for my mother meant patience, jokes, advocacy, incorporation of music, conversation, simple fine motor manipulative, socialization, proper nutrition, fresh air, maintaining dignity, activities incorporating pictures. Whether your loved one needs companionship, help with meals, help with errands, help with toiling/personal care, help with maintaining independence, help socializing or help with medical appointments I can help add value to their life. I believe quality of life is most important!
